On August 26, 2018 VAratifyERA launched the 2019 campaign with a Women’s Equality Day Celebration by screening “Iron Jawed Angels” in many venues around the state.

This August 26th, join VAratifyERA for our 2nd Annual Women’s Equality Day Celebration. There are many festivities for the day:

  1. Press conference to celebrate Women’s Equality Day (11 AM, in front of the Virginia Capitol; please join Virginia’s First Lady, Pam Northam, and equality advocates from around the state for music / fun / ice cream)
  2. First day of the #iScream4Equality ice cream tour around Virginia (cruising Richmond and Chesterfield after the press conference)
  3. Screenings around the state of “On the Basis of Sex,” the docudrama exploring the life and legacy of Ruth Bader Ginsburg
