Nico Cathcart is a painter and muralist hailing from Toronto, Ontario and currently living in Richmond, Virginia. She strives to discuss Feminism and Conservation in her highly-colorful works which often include local flora and fauna, as well as the female form. The artist is in the process of going deaf and often includes birds in her work as a nod to her disability. Nico recently co-curated the exhibition “Fresh Paint: Murals inspired by the story of Virginia” at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture. www.nicocathcart.com

Lily creates puppets from found objects, recycled materials, and cardboard boxes, resulting in inexpensive and accessible works capable of telling powerful stories through theatrical performances. Three of her puppets will be featured in the Celebrate!38 Parade.

With shared roots in Indie, Broadway, Jazz, and Blues, Lucid Lady fuses these various styles to create a unique sound. The band includes songwriters Rebekah Danielson (lead vocals), Savannah Allen (guitar, vocals), Emily Bruzzo (piano, keyboard, synth, vocals), and Wynton Davis (drums, bass, vocals) and focuses on writing honest, colorful, textured original music with a goal of telling stories, starting conversations, and including a little something for everyone.
